How we check jacuzzi rooms
"Hotel with a hot tub" usually means a hot tub somewhere in the building: by the pool, in the spa, on the roof. We only list a hotel when at least one room type you can book has its own jetted tub or hot tub. This page explains what that means and how much you can rely on each listing.
What gets a hotel listed
We research hotels city by city and look at each hotel room type by room type, not at the hotel's general amenities. A hotel is listed only when we can tie a jacuzzi to a specific room type that is sold to the public. For each hotel we then tell you which room type to book, because most hotels only have a handful of jacuzzi rooms next to many standard ones.
A "deep soaking tub" on its own does not count: it is a large bathtub without jets.
Three confidence levels
- Jacuzzi room confirmed
- The room type is sold as a jacuzzi room (for example "King Suite with Whirlpool") and its description lists a jetted tub or private hot tub. This is the strongest signal.
- Named jacuzzi room
- The room type is sold as a jacuzzi room, but its detailed description does not mention the tub. The hotel markets it as a jacuzzi room, so this is reliable too.
- Jetted tub in room amenities
- The room name is generic ("King Suite"), but its in-room amenities include a jetted tub or private hot tub. Our spot checks against guest reviews and room photos confirmed the tub, but at this level we recommend looking at the room photos before booking.
On each city page, hotels are listed by confidence level first, then by guest rating.
What we leave out
- Accessible rooms only. Some hotels only have a jetted tub in a mobility-accessible room. Those rooms are meant for guests who need them, so we do not list them.
- Presidential suites only. When the only jacuzzi is in a suite that is rarely available, we leave the hotel out.
- Shared hot tubs. Pool, spa and rooftop hot tubs shared by all guests are not counted.
- Vacation rentals. Cabins and apartments with a hot tub are a different kind of stay; this site lists hotels, inns and resorts.
- Small cities. A city gets a page once we have at least 5 hotels for it.
Prices and distances
The price shown for each room is the lowest nightly rate we saw for that room type, for one night and two adults, before taxes and fees. It is not a live quote: rates move with dates and demand. Distances are straight-line miles from the city center. Many jacuzzi suites are in suburban hotels, so the city pages cover the city and its surroundings.
Updates and corrections
We repeat our checks regularly, because room types change when hotels renovate. If you stayed in one of these rooms and the jacuzzi was missing, or you know a hotel we missed, please tell us.
How we make money
Booking links go to Hotels.com and are affiliate links: if you book after clicking one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Hotels cannot pay to be listed or ranked.
